Speaker Bio:
Dr. Gore is an author and President and CEO of Mays and Associates, Ltd., a full-service leadership development, strategic planning and culture building consulting firm. Dr. Gore has more than 25 years of experience and recently surpassed the 22,000 individual who has been through her training workshops. Dr. Gore leads the MAYS team of experts who works with organizations from city and county municipalities, small and large private business corporations, large athletic organizations, and serves as a leader in executive coaching and assessment. She is the host of the PinLeader™ Podcast available in 175 countries and has been interviewed by the Big10 Network for her work with the college football officials in the Big10, MAC, Missouri Valley, and Pioneer conferences. Her new and highly anticipated book, The PinLeader Path: Identify, Engage, and Develop Effective Human and AI Leadership for Your Organizational Culture, will be released March 1, 2025.
She is a sought after national award-winning keynote speaker and led discussion topics at conferences and conducted workshops on leadership, civility, disparities in health care, strategic planning, organizational change, engagement surveys and policy implications including the annual meetings for the Association for American Medical Colleges, National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, and the Higher Learning Commission.
Dr. Gore has received several awards and accolades. Dr. Gore's podcast PinLeader Podcast was nominated for a Toledo Press Club Award, she is the 2024 Black Girls Rock Community Change Agent awardee by the AKA Sorority Incorporated and AKA Zeta Alpha Omega Toledo Chapter organizations. She has been honored by her school alma maters including being the 2022 Bowling Green State University’s Leadership Studies Innovative Leader for Equity and Diversity and the 2020 Maumee High School Distinguished Hall of Fame inductee. She is the 2022 Impact Business for Women’s History Month for the Northwest Ohio Toledo Minority Business Assistance Center, received the 2019 American Council of Education (ACE) National Women’s Network Leadership Award for the Ohio Chapter, received the Ohio Grand Council Order of Pythagorans Civic Leader Award, is an African American Legacy Project Emerging Leader of Excellence Awardee, and has received the Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union Community Appreciation Award.
Dr. Gore is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. She received a Bachelor of Communications degree, a Master of Communication, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies. Additionally, she holds a certification as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Administrator and another certificate in E-commerce and Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Gore has been married for 30 years to Bobby Lee Gore, Jr., a retired Toledo Firefighter, and they are the proud parents of two adult children Shoshanah and Nathaniel Gore.
