Rachel, also a WorkWell Facilitator, is primarily informed by her own contemplative meditation practice established in 2008, when she took to “the cushion”, knowing there must be a better way. Her meditation practice has directly impacted all parts of her life – improving work, marriage, parenting, friendships, and creating true contentment and joy in day to day activities. Rachel’s love and enthusiasm for meditation and mindfulness comes from her clear understanding that there is a direct correlation between her practice, and her increased joy and well-being in all aspects of life.
Formal training Rachel is most proud of includes Mindful Schools Teacher Certification, which has prepared her to teach mindfulness curriculum to K-12 Youth, Mindful Leader’s Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator training, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) training through PESI, preparing her to bring trauma informed sensitivity to her work.
Rachel recently completed service to Ashland University as an Advisor for the Women in Leadership Program, as a Member of the Board of Directors for Cardinal Stritch High School and Academy and on the Business Advisory Counsel for Anthony Wayne Local Schools. When Rachel is not facilitating meditation, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, two puppies, reading, writing, and training and competing in West Coast Swing and Latin Ballroom Dance.
