Wellness or well-being programs have evolved over the last 10 years. Over the past decade, experts in the workplace wellness industry have learned that employee health and well-being is greatly impacted by the health and well-being of the organization and they cannot be separate because they greatly impact one another. In this presentation we’ll explore the evolution of worksite well-being programs and new strategies to engage employees in their work and personal well-being.

As the team leader, Maddison supports the health strategists with technical resources, training, and project management assistance to ensure Hylant offers innovative health & well-being strategy consultation to our clients. She also works with clients to provide worksite health and well-being leadership and assists with the development and execution of thoughtful health and well-being strategies. In partnering with clients to target the many dimensions of employee well-being, align wellness and benefit strategies, and help build a supportive culture of wellness at the worksite, Maddison provides a customized solution to each organization based on their employees’ unique needs and values.
Bio: Emily Miller
Although relatively new to the insurance industry, Emily works with clients on strategy for their wellness program and provides insight and resources for program development. She uses her diverse experience in the healthcare industry to help each client customize the wellness program that will best serve their employees.
By the end of this session, participants will know:
- Why organizational health is so important to an employer well-being strategy/program
- Factors that influence organizational health
- Trends in workplace well-being strategies
- Steps you can take to align the health of your organization and employee well-being
